Why Is Concrete Sealing Necessary?
Protecting your driveway and making it look great is where we come in. Here at Ultimate Seal, we use only the best in concrete sealers and equipment. If you’ve never eard of us before or what we do, you might well be wondering – is concrete sealing necessary? We’re glad you asked!
Why Seal Your Driveway?
We’d be willing to bet that if you have your own home, the driveway is probably one of the last parts of the house that you give much thought to! After all, it’s really just place for your car to park most of the time, right? But have you ever considered that your driveway might be letting you down in the aesthetics department? Furthermore, if you ever want to sell up and move out, your driveway is one of the first things a potential buyer will lay their eyes on. Do you really want them to see a scuffed up and old driveway with cracks criss-crossing it?
We suppose that concrete sealing isn’t necessary for everyone, but if you want a driveway that looks good, it’s definitely a good idea! If you’re still on the fence about it, here’s what a premium concrete sealer can do:
New look drive: A concrete sealer is especially good if you’ve just had your driveway redone in a coloured concrete. Just as everything looks deeply saturated and fresh, our premium sealer will make your driveway look vibrant and new again.
Protection: The regular driveway takes a real pounding over the course of its life. Once we clean it all up and layer our sealer on top, it will not only look great, but will also now have a layer of protection. This means that it will be protected from scuffs, dirt, oils and the grime that piled up leaves and bird droppings leave behind. All you need to do is brush the dirt off and you’re back to a new look driveway again!
Here’s How We Make Your Driveway Look Great
Now that we’ve told you how good we can make your driveway look, here’s a step by step of how we go about our business:
Clean: First up, we’ll pressure clean your driveway with our state of the art equipment. This will get rid of the grease, oil, dirt, and other debris that has built up on the surface. The last thing we want is for dirt to be trapped under our final layer of premium sealant!
Dry: After cleaning, we let it dry for 24 hours. That might seem like a long time, but sometimes a good job just takes time. If we seal it before it has completely dried out, then moisture might get trapped under the final sealant and cause it to look milky or cloudy. We’re guessing that none of our clients wants that!
Seal: After the driveway has dried out, we seal it with one of our premium sealing agents! If you really want, we can even add a colour to the mixture so that your driveway really catches the eye.
So, is concrete sealing necessary? It’s most definitely a good idea if you want it to look good and be protected for years to come!
